TRAVELLIN'

TRAVELIN’

What to expect from

The root of this lily

How to bend its petal

So low to see its heart

I would tell her he’d come

The branch of her pity

An immense illegal

Tragedy torn to part

I would go away

From my black-out scenery

Let her run her way

Up her branch to the sky

Patience, wait ‘til I get you

My grip will loosen to the air

Of necks heaving freedom

My stick will lead the way

Up a hill, my doom

What colors should I follow?

Up to where my eyes will not grow

Lost is the sheet of a child

A water-friend feels missed

He’d tell I’d come

If only I was his flesh

A Cut, the edge of this branch

Not a lost part of his song.

Travelin’

Up a stairway

Evil

Empty scene of a colorless

Bottom

Stairs I cannot see

Down the branch of her sky

Patience, wait ‘til I get you

My grip will loosen to the air

Of necks heaving freedom

My stick will lead the way

Up a hill, my doom

However…

However…

However…

How ever could I catch up

However…

However…

However…

How ever can we dream.
